Exhibition Preparations

 TOK Exhibition Organization

This year I and my fellow IB first-year students decided to have a big organization for our IB TOK exhibitions. But great organization comes with great planning. For this reason, my friends and I had to have meetings almost every night. During these meetings, we discussed budget changes, PR campaigns, and individual responsibilities. As one of the main organizations, one of my duties was to give people individual responsibilities. While this job wanted a lot of teamwork we still needed to split certain jobs for different people to manage it easily. While doing this job I had to consider everyone's strong points and availability. This made me know people in my grade a bit more intimately than before. While creating these teams I had to have empathy and make people comfortable as possible with the duties given. 

I think this responsibility allowed me to better my leadership. having authority over this many people did not make me as stressed as I thought initially and made me consider lead positions in future organizations. Since the planning made me experience this many new things already I can't wait for the exhibition itself where I will present my work.
